Vivo launched its Y53s NFC phone today in Indonesia and is up for pre-order starting soon. The Chinese tech company went official in Vietnam earlier this month with Y53s but without NFC support. However, both phones boast similar specifications, as per the Vivo Indonesia website and the e-retailer listing.

The phone sports a 6.58-inch display with full-HD+ (1,080×2,408 pixels) resolution with a waterdrop notch and 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it packs a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC with 8GB + (3GB extended) of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 1TB via microSD.
In the photography department, the smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4 lens), and a 2MP macro shooter (f/2.4 aperture). For selfies and video calling, it houses a 16MP sensor that comes with an f/2.0 lens.
The smartphone draws its juices from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Aside from that, the Y53s comes in a dual-SIM slot and runs FunTouchOS 11.1 based on Android 11. As far as the connectivity is concerned, the phone includes a USB Type-C port, NFC, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
In addition, the smartphone comes with several sensors as well i.e, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, e-compass, proximity sensor and accelerometer. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 164×75.46×8.38mm, and it weighs 190 grams.

Vivo Y53s NFC will cost you around VND6,990,000 (approx Rs 22,600) for the sole 8GB + 128GB storage model. The Y53s is currently available on JD.com for pre-orders till July 27. Furthermore, it comes in Blue, Purple and Black Green colours.
